We have the freedom of choice, we leave it up to consumers to choose what fits their personal preference best.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"polaris__heading\">Skoda&#8217;s future EV plans<\/h2>\n<p>Two new Skoda electric cars that will be revealed next year are the <a class=\"polaris__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoexpress.co.uk\/skoda\/362602\/new-skoda-epiq-electric-suv-revives-spirit-yeti\">Epiq<\/a>, a small \u00a322,000 hatchback sister car to the forthcoming <a class=\"polaris__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoexpress.co.uk\/volkswagen\/355735\/volkswagen-id2all-concept-future-vw-idpolo-promises-big-things-and-low-prices\">Volkswagen ID.2<\/a> and <a class=\"polaris__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoexpress.co.uk\/cupra\/365457\/new-cupra-raval-ev-set-september-debut\">Cupra Raval<\/a>, and a seven-seat electric sibling to the <a class=\"polaris__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoexpress.co.uk\/skoda\/kodiaq\">Kodiaq<\/a> currently known by the codename <a class=\"polaris__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoexpress.co.uk\/skoda\/365706\/big-new-skoda-7-seat-suv-track-sit-above-kodiaq-2026\">7S<\/a> and likely to use the same MEB electric platform as Skoda\u2019s existing <a class=\"polaris__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoexpress.co.uk\/skoda\/enyaq\">Enyaq<\/a> and <a class=\"polaris__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoexpress.co.uk\/skoda\/elroq\">Elroq<\/a> models. Both new EVs will be shown in 2026 and arrive in the UK the following year, with the Epiq likely to appear a few months ahead of Skoda\u2019s new electric flagship.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Zellmer was speaking around Skoda\u2019s annual results, which saw a record financial year for the brand, including an operating profit of 2.3bn Euros (\u00a31.93bn), although he was keen to emphasise that ICE cars still have a significantly higher profit margin than EVs.
