Victoria Police are on the lookout for a man accused of breaking into a property in Melbourne’s east.
Police are on the hunt for a man accused of stealing a Toyota LandCruiser from a Melbourne home – and helping himself to two muffins on his way out.
The 2018 LandCruiser is said to have been taken during an aggravated burglary in Kew in Melbourne’s inner-east.
Alongside the Toyota LandCruiser, the alleged thief is accused of making off with a pair of shoes, a bag, a mobile phone and two muffins left out on the kitchen counter.
According to Victoria Police, the man – thought to have attempted to enter other properties in the area – is Caucasian in appearance, with stubble, and was wearing a hoodie at the time of the alleged offence in the early hours of 6 August.
Detectives have released images and CCTV footage of a male they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
